University of Mississippi Police Chief Daniel Sanford is asking anyone with information about Lee’s whereabouts to contact the official.
A reward of $1,000 is offered to anyone who comes forward with information that helps in finding Lee.
“We are asking the public again for any tips, information, potential persons of interest, or any other information that will lead to Lee being found,” police said in a press release.
Officers hope to have an update on the case by Tuesday morning.
“Law enforcement continues to actively search for Jimmie, but community involvement is an essential part of any missing person case,” Sanford said. “We urge anyone out there with information regarding Jimmie’s whereabouts to contact OPD, UPD, or Crime Stoppers, no matter how small they feel the piece of information might be.”
“Working together, it is my hope that we can see that Jimmie is safely returned to his family. We will send out an update on the case tomorrow morning through our normal channels,” Sanford continued.

Lee was driving a 2014 Black Ford Fusion with a gold race stripe down the center of the hood and front bumper. The Ole Miss student’s car — with the custom license plate number “JAYLEE1” — was found at the Molly Barr Trails apartment complex three days after Lee disappeared.
Lakiowa Milan, a friend of Lee’s, described Lee a great friend and highly likable.
“He’s really energetic, nice, friendly. He’ll talk to anybody. He’s kind of the life of the party. Real sweet,” Milan told WREG. “So, it’s just unfortunate something like this has happened so close to home.”
Milan said her friend is someone who could “talk to anybody,” adding that Lee is “the life of the party. Real sweet. So, it’s just unfortunate something like this has happened so close to home.”
