Well, sort of. The cast of the first All-Star Celebrity Apprentice has been revealed.
I'm surprised that the entire Apprentice franchise is still on the air.
The lineup for the new season will feature fan favorites from previous seasons of Celebrity Apprentice, including: Omarosa, Dennis Rodman, Lil Jon, Claudia Jordan, Trace Adkins, Stephen Baldwin, Gary Busey, Penn Jillette, Bret Michaels, Dee Snider, Marilu Henner, La Toya Jackson, Lisa Rinna and Playmate of the Year Brande Roderick.
In All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, the contestants will compete to win $250,000 for their favorite charities, in a season that the ever-modest Trump says will be "another amazing" one!
The question that I'm sure many of you will have is, how the very recent death (about a month ago) of her fiancée Michael Clarke Duncan, will affect Omarosa's state of mind as the show is being tapped, and how the effects of that will affect the other participants, and the overall show.
She's already been painted as one of the early reality TV show Villains (although some would argue that it was a face that she embraced and exploited herself), and I can only wonder if we'll see a different kind of Omarosa in this, or if the show will exploit her grieving.
My concern is that the show sees an opportunity for potential Omarosa drama (as if the show doesn't already have enough with this group of characters). But she's a grown woman and can make decisions for herself. And it is for a good cause.
Is it too soon for her to be on a show (especially a reality TV show) like The Apprentice? Or, as my father said when his mother died that the best way for him to move forward is to keep himself busy with work, as soon as he could get back to it.
What do you guys think?
As for Rodman, La Toya, etc, expect plenty of nuttiness.
