While most of us were watching the Grammys, history was being made on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Panic! at the Disco (my pop punk, ex-emo guilty pleasure through the entirety of my high school career) graced the stage with Mr. Unleash the Dragon himself to perform one of the biggest twerk anthems from the ’99 and the 2000s.
Sisqó came prepared with two back up dancers in tow and decided to keep it classic, performing the original choreography from the video, released in 1999.
Ultimately, the performance achieved the level of nostalgia it intended to induce, but Panic! at the Disco’s lead singer Brendon Urie had a few struggle moments. All in all, the crowd loved it.
