Blac Chyna has requested police assistance in discovering who leaked a sex tape featuring her earlier this week, Fox News reports. The video was posted on Monday from an anonymous Twitter account, according to TMZ.
Chyna's partner in the video is her ex-boyfriend Mechie, according to the New York Daily News. Mechie claims that he never had a copy of the video, telling reporters that he also plans to take legal action against whoever leaked the tape.
Walter Mosley, one of Chyna's attorneys, released a statement on Instagram both denouncing the leak and suggesting that the leaker needs to be prosecuted within the full extent of the law in order to "set an example."
Lisa Bloom, another one of Chyna's attorneys, released an equally scathing statement on Twitter, labelling the tape "revenge porn," and reminding the public that revenge porn is a crime that has claimed lives.
Revenge porn — posting explicit images without the consent of everyone in those images — is a crime, a civil wrong, and a form of domestic abuse.
It's also a way to try to slut shame women for being sexual.
Girls have killed themselves over revenge porn.
It's not a joke.— Lisa Bloom (@LisaBloom) February 19, 2018
Whether a woman knows she's being recorded is not the issue. Whether she consented to posting is.

Chyna retained Bloom's services after her ex-fiance and father of her child, Rob Kardashian, released explicit images of her without her consent on social media. Chyna and Bloom hope Kardashian will be sentenced to a stern punishment through California's revenge porn laws. Those convicted of revenge porn offenses in California can be sentenced to up to six months in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.
While Chyna hasn't spoken out publicly about this newest invasion of privacy, of Kardashian she has said, "If you can't respect me, you have to respect the law."
