President Obama has always been a perfect example of #careergoals, #lifegoals, and #relationshipgoals. He’s got the juice. The President even keeps up on Twitter, allowing users to directly Tweet him. Now, he’s making it easier to slide in his DMs via Facebook.
Since 2009 President Obama has read 10 letters a day sent to him from constituents. Technology has made it simple for citizens to contact the President by submitting messages online via whitehouse.gov. To keep up with the ever-growing digital space, the White House is adding another way to send a note to President Obama by messaging the White House on Facebook, the same way you message your friends.
According to an official White House press release, “Our goal is to meet people where they are. It’s why the President launched his own Twitter account and the First Lady is on Snapchat. It’s about creating opportunities for people to engage with their government in new and accessible ways, using the same technologies we already rely on in our daily lives.”
As the President closes out his last term in office, here’s your last chance to slide in his DMs. Make it count.
Now ladies let us remember that First Lady Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is from Chicago and plays no games. Happy messaging!
