Quincy Jones and Blue Ivy Carter are on the Mount Rushmore of shadiest moments of 2018 already.

During a recent interview with GQ Magazine, the 84-year-old music legend opened up about the intimate details of his life. He also took time out to throw a little shade towards Taylor Swift.

Interviewer Chris Heath asked Jones whether or not he enjoyed the pop star's music. The EGOT winner apparently just made an unpleasant face before delicately chipping away at the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer.

“We need more songs, man,” Jones told GQ. “F*cking songs, not hooks.” Heath tried to lighten the blow by noting that some consider Swift “the great songwriter of our age.”

“Whatever crumbles your cookie,” Jones said, laughing.

The music legend has also taken some flak for another statement he made in the interview regarding his dating life.

He told Heath that he has 22 girlfriends around the world ranging in age from 21 to 42.

“[I got] girlfriends everywhere. Cape Town. Cairo. Stockholm — she’s coming in next week. Brazil — Belo Horizonte, Sao Paulo and Rio. Shanghai — got a great girl over there from Shanghai, man. Cairo, whew,” Jones said.

When it was observed that some of these girlfriends are younger than his daughters, Heath asked Jones if he was opposed to dating women his own age.

“There’s nothing … there’s no upside [to dating a woman my age],” Jones replied. “You gotta be kidding. I got me some technology out there … keep fat and old away from here. Buzzes if they’re too old. But you’d be surprised. … These women, the young ones, are aggressive now. Oh my God, they’re fearless, man. All over the world.”

Realizing later how his comments would likely come across, Jones tweeted out an apology to his fans and to women, in general:

Whatever crumbles your cookie, Mr. Jones, whatever crumbles your cookie.
