A white woman caught on camera this summer assaulting a young Black teen at a local community pool received no jail time after pleading guilty to assault and battery charges.

In the viral video released on June 24, Stephanie Sebby-Strempel, 38, of South Carolina, is seen shouting at the young man while smacking the camera out of her face. According to the New York Post, Sebby-Strempel continued hitting the 15-year-old boy while also hurling racial slurs at him, threatening to call 9-1-1 if the teen and his friends didn't leave the neighborhood pool.

"Get out now! There’s three numbers I can dial, 9-1-1, okay? Get out, you little punk," she barked at the teen and his friends.

Nicknamed "Pool Patrol Paula," Sebby-Strempel continued taunting the teens even after they attempted to leave the pool area. Footage of the interaction was turned over to authorities who appeared at Sebby-Strempel's home following the incident to apprehend the woman. Upon arriving at her door, ABC News 4 writes Sebby-Strempel "physically resisted arrest, pushed one detective into a wall and then bit a second detective on the arm, breaking the skin."

While she was not present for her sentencing, the teen's family were at Dorchester County court where the trial took place. The judge ultimately fined Pool Patrol Paula $1,000, which she has 10 days to pay.

When asked if that was sufficient punishment, the boy's family said yes and did not provide any more comments, per the New York Post.
