Miranda Maday recently revealed her wife Raven-Symoné’s beauty routine, and according to her, it might get the actor’s “Black card pulled.”

According to Complex, Maday shared on a Jan. 5 episode of Nick Cannon’s We Playin’ Spades podcast that the Raven’s Home star doesn’t use lotion. Maday went on to explain Raven’s refusal to moisturize and also addressed the viral claims that she earns more money than the 40-year-old actor.

Here’s more on Maday’s comments about Raven’s beauty routine and their financial standing.

Raven explained she’s ‘tired’ of ‘lathering’ her whole body in lotion

According to The Grio, during a segment that asks guests to share a revelation that could get their “Black card pulled,” Maday pointed to Raven’s refusal to use lotion.

Cannon was shocked by the news, exclaiming, “You don’t lotion!”

Maday responded, “She lets herself stay ashy.”

Still in shock, the Wild ‘n Out host said that’s “some light skin s**t” but, in defense of Raven, his co-host Courtney Bee explained ash doesn’t “come up the same on light skin,” Complex reported.

Raven explained that, on occasion, she is “ashy,” but she’s “tired” of “lathering” her whole body in lotion.

Cannon recommended integrating moisturizing into her shower routine to make it easier.

“Right when you get out the shower, just have the lotion right there and make that a part of the process before you put your draws on,” he said before Maday pointed out doing so is “better hydration.”

“If you’re a little damp, when you put your lotion on, you lock in the moisture. You’re more hydrated. That’s exactly what I do,” she explained.

Ultimately, Raven expressed she’s comfortable with her beauty routine and in her own skin.

Maday addresses viral comments about being ‘richer’ than Raven

Aside from Raven’s lotion use, during the episode, Maday also addressed comments she made four months ago about being “richer” than the That’s So Raven alum, E! Online.

“You know mudflaps on trucks? My family invented those,” she said. “You’ll see sometimes on the East Coast, still they’ll have Maday flaps.”

Maday explained that two brothers, her “great, great whatevers,” started the business. But Maday’s father and his side of the family were left out of the money, forcing him to “make his own.” He ultimately built a career in the entertainment industry.

“He did very well for himself,” she said. “The reality of the situation is, though, financially, I’ve been very fortunate to grow up in a family that had money. I have not wanted for anything in my life, and that’s privilege.”

The 38-year-old also revealed she has a trust fund.

After clearing up her family’s financial background, Maday explained that she brought up the couple’s finances on their podcast, Tea Time with Miranda and Raven, after rumors that she married Raven for her money circulated online.

“I share that information to just give more context to why meeting Raven had nothing to do with what was in the bank,” she said. “Raven, of course, is wealthier than I am on her own because Raven was a millionaire and she’s been working for 40 years. Of course, there’s a difference there.”
