Kevin Hart is revisiting the world of Real Husbands of Hollywood with BET+’s new limited series, Real Husbands of Hollywood – More Kevin, More Problems, coming to Feb. 10, 2022. The series’ revival was officially announced July of this year.
The series reunites the original cast, including Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, JB Smoove, Nelly, Nick Cannon, Robin Thicke as Hart’s househusband friends. Cynthia McWilliams and Jackie Long are also returning to the series with new additions Michele Weaver and Angela Rye. The series is a spoof on the Real Housewives franchise and follows Hart and the cast in a fictionalized version of their lives in Hollywood.
The original series was created by Hart, Chris Spencer and Ralph R. Farquhar in 2012, first debuting as a BET Awards sketch. The full series debuted in 2013 and ran for five seasons until 2016.
Real Husbands of Hollywood – More Kevin, More Problems is produced by Hartbeat Productions and Jesse Collins Entertainment with Hart and Collins as executive producers. Other executive producers include Farquhar, Stan Lathan, Bryan Smiley, Mike Stein, Andy Horne, Dionne Harmon, Dave Becky, Wayne Stamps, who also acts as showrunner, and Chris Spencer, who also serves as writer. Carl Craig will produce with writers Johnny Mack and Buddy Lewis. Robin Henry and Amberia Allen are newcomers to the writing team with Chris Robinson, Ali Leroi and Leslie Small directing.
