Red Table Talk is almost back on Facebook Watch and highlights include a Tinder Swindler victim and the Smith kids getting their own episode.
The new season, featuring Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield Norris, starts Wednesday at 9 am PT/12 pm ET with Janelle Monáe is the first guest. Monáe will talk about her journey to accepting herself and how she faced the trauma of her childhood. According to Facebook Watch:
The unapologetic LGBTQIA+ superhero and 8-time Grammy nominee reveals why she no longer sees herself as a woman and what inspired her to come out at age 32. Janelle shares how she overcame her fears of abandonment and healed from the traumatizing effects of her father’s drug addiction, a special appearance by her feisty and fierce-loving mom Janet Hawthorne shakes up the table, and a dream comes true for a Janelle superfan.

Upcoming episodes of the popular series will include exclusive interviews with the parents of Miss USA Cheslie Kryst, who died by suicide earlier this year. Other interviews include Ireland Baldwin and her celebrity mom Kim Basinger, revealing in their first interview together how anxiety has affected them. The interview is also Basinger’s first in over a decade.
Tinder Swindler victim Ayleen Charlotte will also be one of the series’ notable guests, as well as My Friend Anna author Rachel DeLoache Williams, detailing her time with fake German heiress and con artist Anna Delvey. Shark Tank star, real estate mogul and business expert Barbara Corcoran will also have an episode detailing how scams can easily happen to anyone.
A special episode featuring Willow and brothers Jaden and Trey will be the siblings' first solo episode to talk about their experiences.
Past guests of Red Table Talk have included Sandra Bullock, Ciara, Snoop Dogg, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Salma Hayek, Paris Jackson, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, Matthew McConaughey, Demi Moore, Keanu Reeves and Gwyneth Paltrow. The series has had over 100 episodes and reached more than 1 billion viewers worldwide.The series has also won six NAACP Image Awards, an African-American Film Critics Association Award, and the hosts were honored as some of “Most Influential People of 2021” by TIME, as well as “Entertainers of the Year” by the Ebony Power 100.
Pinkett-Smith has also been presented with the Trailblazer Award at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards and the series itself has featured numerous nominations from the Daytime Emmy Awards, the People’s Choice Awards, the MTV Movie & TV Awards, the Critics Choice Awards and the Streamy Awards.
