Reebok has teamed with MOFILM to launch a worldwide search for young, talented filmmakers to participate in their “Live With Fire Project,” which will see invited filmmakers create films "celebrating the true stories of individuals who inspire using fitness and creativity."
The overall competition will be broken down into two global video contests.
5 winners will be selected for each contest to win cash prizes up to $8,000. The first-place winner of the first contest will also be invited to the SXSW film festival in March, while the first-place winner of the second contest will be invited to the Cannes Lion Festival of Creativity in June.
The final 10 filmmakers will be commissioned by Reebok to identify and make films about inspirational people and some of the company's own global ambassadors.
“Not only will filmmakers be rewarded with cash prizes and trips to two amazing festivals but they will also have the opportunity to work directly with Reebok, documenting inspirational stories,” said Jeffrey Merrihue, CEO and founder of MOFILM.
