Minutes after his team clinched their first NFC North divisional title in eight years, Chicago Bears left tackle Charles Leno, Jr. proposed to longtime girlfriend Jennifer Roth on the midfield line of Soldier Field.

Following their announcement, Twitter detectives went to work and discovered that Roth has a racist past of her own. Less than 24 hours after the big ask, tweets dating back to 2012 revealed Roth wanted to "go back to talking to white guys" after observing how Black men treat white women on her college campus.

Another tweet showed Roth calling people ghetto for naming their children after "stuff they can't afford."

The online community had a thought or two about the boresome bigotry. One user challenged Black men defending Roth's behavior to keep that same energy around their mothers and aunts.

Others noted that the Oakland native was probably aware of his fiancée's racism and may not care.

Others couldn't help but assume Roth is with Leno for his money, and predicted their marriage ending in divorce.

Finally, a user lamented how disheartening it is that Leno won't stand with Colin Kaepernick on taking a knee against police brutality but will propose to a white woman with prejudice tendencies.

Jennifer Roth's tweets are now protected, and Leno has since remained mum on the issue. If the culmination of this scandal echoes previous offenses by white women, Roth will issue an apology claiming she was "making a joke," denying her obvious racism in the process.
