The Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dillard Bassett is known for her feuds with co-stars. During a sit down with another Bravo housewife, Dillard Bassett gave insight into how she feels about the show and becoming so frustrated with Andy Cohen that she nearly snapped at him.
She recalls becoming angry with Andy Cohen
While chatting with Sutton Stracke on Housewife to Housewife about their experiences on their respective series, Dillard-Bassett revealed that Andy Cohen made a comment during the season 6 reunion show that almost made her flip out.
Sutton revealed to Dillard-Basset that in her own group, she is the “common denominator “in the drama but she thinks it’s a good thing.
Dillard Basset didn’t like it when Andy Cohen said it to her during the reunion special, noting, “On God, Andy Cohen called me that at the reunion and I almost flipped my s**t.”
She doesn't understand why her costars are triggered
Dillard Basset is often emotional on the show and revealed she doesn’t understand why her co-stars are bothered when she cries.
She told the RHOBH star, “This is not a reflection of me. That is a reflection of you and your low emotional intelligence. You need to go to therapy and figure out why me expressing emotion is triggering for you. Because I’m releasing mine. I’m going to be able to sleep tonight because I cried and I’m Letting my emotion out” she noted.
“There are people I wish I would have said less to,” she said, probably referring to the demise of her friendship with Monique Samuels and her never-ending arguments with Ashley Darby.
When asked about regrets, she admits she wishes she'd handled certain things differently.

This isn't the first time she's spoken about issues with Cohen
In Dave Quinn’s Housewives tell-all book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives, Dillard talks about how she was upset with Andy Cohen for not contacting her after the Season 5 winery incident.
As reported by The Jasmine Brand, she said, “I even reached out to Andy’s assistant and asked for him to call me. Nothing. That’s f**ked up. I know he has well over a hundred Housewives, all texting and calling him all the time. But how many of them were physically attacked on camera by their costar?”
“The fact that he couldn’t even schedule ten minutes to reach out to me? You don’t give a f**k,” she continued. ” You are making money off of our backs and feeding your son with it, and you just don’t give a f**k about us and you can’t tell me that you do. And when I saw him, I did say it to his face.”
Though this was published in the book, Dillard apologized in a social media post.
