Rapper Rick Ross has partnered with Jetdoc to provide affordable healthcare options to Americans, the mobile app announced via a press release on Monday.
According to its website, Jetdoc is a “mobile app that connects users virtually with world-class medical professionals.”
The company boasts that its “revolutionary digital healthcare platform” will accommodate every budget and offers monthly pricing of $10 for unlimited use or a $20 one-time virtual urgent care visit fee.
“As an active artist and businessman, I often don’t have time to see a doctor. I’d make excuses and prioritize my healthcare second to my hustle. Jetdoc is a convenient and affordable alternative to going into a doctor’s office. To me, it’s really the future of healthcare. I wanted to be a part of empowering people to take control of their health regardless of their circumstances. Jetdoc puts the power of managing our health into our own hands,” the former Maybach Music executive said.
Ross serves as an investor and adviser to the company’s CEO, Tommy Duncan, who also expressed his excitement over the innovative mobile app and how important having access to healthcare is.
“Healthcare isn’t just a passion for me; it’s a must,” the mogul said. “I had a stroke when I was 30, and despite working in the industry, I still had difficulty in getting proper care. So with Jetdoc, we created a tool that empowers everyone to take control and affordably manage their own healthcare. Adding Rick Ross to the team made perfect sense because he immediately understood our mission, and he embodies the spirit of both ownership in both health and business.”
The two men said the partnership will set a new industry standard for the virtual healthcare industry.
Jetdoc’s Twitter account wasted no time announcing the news.
“We welcome @RickRoss, Grammy-nominated rapper and entrepreneur, to @myjetdoc as an equity partner, advisor, & spokesperson. Jetdoc provides virtual urgent care; no insurance needed,” the tweet read.

The rapper is already fulfilling his obligation as a spokesman for the company.
Via Jetdoc’s Instagram, the company encouraged followers to ride the new wave in healthcare, and Ricky Rozay dutifully responded to the post.

“Letsssss Goooooo,” the “Aston Martin Music” rapper replied.
Jetdoc is already available in Florida and will launch in other states at the beginning of 2021. The app, which is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, offers early-access benefits, like a free trial.
