Imagine walking into a GameStop and leaving with a free Xbox. That's the dream of so many kids, and for one 10-year-old, that dream came true.
According to the Washington Post, a boy name Jaden was browsing the merchandise at a GameStop at a shopping center in Virginia when he met two men who complimented him on his Colin Kaepernick jersey. The two men were Rob Kelley and Keith Marshall, running backs for the Washington Redskins.
When Jaden entered the store, Marshall heard him inquiring about the price of an Xbox One. He mentioned he had been saving up to buy the console. That's when Marshall conspired with his teammate to see if he'd like to pitch in helping to buy one for the boy.
When Jaden went to tell his grandmother that two guys wanted to buy him an Xbox, she was of course skeptical.
“The first thing I’m thinking is there’s some pedophile trying to buy my grandson an Xbox,” Jaden’s grandmother, Saundra Watts, told the Post. “So I’m like, I’m going to bust up in there and bust his bubble.”
Upon seeing the two men, she realized that the offer was legit and the purchase was allowed.

“I wish someone would’ve done something like that for me when I was growing up,” Kelley said, “To make an impact on somebody, I have no problem with it.”
Nobody involved made mention of the encounter because no one was looking for recognition. However, one man witnessed the whole thing and took to Facebook to talk about it.
A seriously beautiful act of kindness that we're sure all parties involved will always remember.
