Last night, Houston rapper Sauce Walka, whose real name is Albert Walker Mondane, became a trending topic on social media after news began to spread that a California man was allegedly killed trying to rob him while the rapper was in Los Angeles, HotNewHipHop reports.

The 32-year-old allegedly caught a body in self-defense during an attempted robbery.

Shortly after the incident occurred, Walka posted a photo of a white pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers with small blood stains on his Instagram story with the caption, “F****D UP MY LOUIS….. DUMMY.”

Before the rumors could begin to swirl, the Houston native jumped on Instagram to follow up with a video addressing the altercation that took place earlier that day.

“I really didn’t want to speak on this sh**t,” said Walka. “But I know it’s too many Black kings and young kings out there that are being misled and misguided wrong. So, y’all need to learn from this experience that I went through tonight.”

Sauce Walka went on to say that being a rapper is one of the most dangerous jobs in America and indicated that his occupation puts a target on his back.

“There’s a lot of young men that want to do this s**t but don’t know everything that comes with it,” explained Walka. “But understand this, everybody ain’t going and I’m one of those people that is not going. So, unfortunately, tonight someone lost their life for doing something stupid.”

During the video, he also encouraged young people, especially Black men, to understand that robbing and stealing is not the answer. Instead, he said, they should aspire to be more and do more in life, like becoming a lawyer, the next Lebron James or even become a rapper like him.

Since the incident, Sauce Walka has taken to his Instagram stories to repost messages from supporters, many of whom praise the rapper for defending his property.

“Yall gone learn to quit playing wit MFs! Not everybody going fa dat s**t,” one supporter wrote.

“Got his brain snatched tryna chain snatch,” wrote another.

The young man that was killed has not been identified, as details of the incident are still unfolding and an investigation is underway.
