ABC wants to make sure that Scandal fans (as well as those who are new to the series) are fully caught up on the first 2 seasons, and are ready for tonight’s much-anticipated season 3 premiere, at 10pm.
The network has released a 7-minute video recapping all the essential facts and most tantalizing plot-lines.
This is ahead of a 1-hour primetime special hosted by cast member Josh Malina, at 8pm tonight, that will take viewers on a deeper dive into the series, titled Scandal: The Secret is Out.
The one-hour special dissects the rumors, lies and affairs that have made “Scandal” one of the most talked about shows on TV. Viewers will be able to catch up on their favorite characters and story lines from Seasons 1 and 2, and the most asked questions –#WhoisQuinn?, #WhoShotFitz? and #WhattheHuck — will all be explained.
And in episode 1 of season 3, an unexpected allegiance forms in the wake of the revelation about President Fitz’s mistress. Meanwhile, a determined Rowan Pope (played by Joe Morton) allows no one to prevent him from carrying out his orders.
