Whether pressed, curled, or twisted, Snoop Dogg has always been known for his luscious locs. So who better to tap into the hair business than the legendary rapper himself? Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus Jr., has teamed up with his wife, Shante, and their latest business venture is hitting close to home.

The husband and wife duo have announced the Broadus Collection by Shante & Snoop; a luxury scarf line dedicated to their 23-year-old daughter Cori Broadus.

At just six years old, Cori “Choc” Broadus was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease that can cause symptoms such as joint and muscle pain, trouble breathing, sun sensitivity, and hair loss. 1.5 million people are affected by this disease and unfortunately, there is no cure.

When Cori started to lose her hair, she began wearing scarves to cover heard head. Out of support, her family followed suit. This soon became the Broadus clan’s signature look.

After years of wearing other brands, Snoop threw out the idea of creating a family-owned line of scarves since they enjoy working together.

“We’re wearing all of these scarves and they don’t have no names on ’em. We’re just buying them tons after tons after tons,” he told ESSENCE. “We’re a family of business people so the next step was, ‘how do we create a business out of this?’”

From there, it was only right for the Broadus family to create a line of scarves that were both stylish and served a purpose.

The unisex multifunctional scarves were made to protect and keep moisture in the hair while sleeping, working out, or simply adding a little twist to an outfit.

The stylish collection was produced by beauty mastermind Annie International, Inc. and includes 6 scarf patterns in two sizes. You can purchase online for $11.99 and $12.99 at BroadusCollection.com.
