"Ayyy, bright ideas, we got bright ideas"

Apparently, those aren't just the lyrics to one of SZA's most popular songs from her hit album Ctrl but straight up facts. According to Complex, the soulful and eccentric singer's music video for "The Weekend" will be directed by none other than the free-spirited goddess herself, Solange Knowles.

"I love her," SZA told USA Today in an interview. "I think the universe is just bringing us closer to each other. That's my homegirl."

This must be a universal-ordained gift because, with these two visionaries at the helm, "The Weekend" is bound to be a visual masterpiece.

Not to mention how "Don't Touch My Hair," "Cranes in the Sky" and "Love Galore" gave us chills, made our jaws drop and became our anthems on 2016 and this year.

Per the article, it is alleged that the video will have 10 different settings and it can be anticipated that once it makes its debut, it will give us something we never knew we needed.

This is not the first time Solange and SZA have shared the same creative space; the two performed at the Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn on Saturday, Aug. 26.

Solange is not nearly the only fan of SZA wanting to collaborate with her. Today, SZA shared The HBCU Roundtable's video on Twitter of the marching band at Florida A&M University playing "The Weekend" during a game with the hashtag #ReasonsToGoToAnHBCU.

Watch it here:

We can only cross our fingers that the two songstresses will collaborate on a track in the near future. Until then, we excitingly await what they have in store for us for this video.
