Only Solange Knowles could make a du-rag high fashion.

The “Cranes in the Sky” singer attended the 2018 Met Gala on Monday, May 7, rocking a black sculpted Iris Van Herpen dress, a crown made of blonde hair and a sleek du-rag to complete the look.

On the Met Gala red carpet, Solange said she was inspired by various saints and her definition of God.

“My inspiration was Black Madonna, Saint Heron…all of the Black and African saints,” she told Vogue. “And I’m really excited because my du-rag says ‘my god wears a du-rag.’”

Prior to the festivities, the 31-year-old posted a few looks on Twitter for her followers to choose from because she was feeling the pressure to slay.

“Dead ass about to let y’all pick my met gala look cuz i can’t handle the anxiety rn… which saint shall I draw energy from and pull up to the function as?” she said.

Her fans made the right choice because sis was stunting on everyone.
