A woman in South Carolina is mourning the deaths of her four children, all of whom were killed in a car accident.
According to The Greenville News, three of Jackie Brown's four children were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident early Friday morning. The children ranged in age from 4 to 8 years old. Brown's youngest child, who was 2, passed away Sunday evening at a local hospital.
The driver of the vehicle in the single-car accident, 27-year-old Arnez Yaron Jamison, suffered only a broken leg and was treated at a nearby hospital.
WSB-TV reports Jamison is Brown's boyfriend and was the father of her two youngest children. He faces four counts of felony DUI ending in death and one count each of driving under suspension, child endangerment and driving an uninsured vehicle.
Since news of the fatal crash broke, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to help Brown by her colleague Crystal Smith.
"Jackie has lost her whole world all at once," Smith wrote on the page. "Please help Jackie properly lay her babies to rest."
The page is just under $3,500 short of its $50,000 goal, with nearly 1,700 contributors as of Tuesday.
Speaking with The Greenville News, Brown said she is lost without her children.
"I'm just incomplete now without them," she said. "They were my everything — my heart, my blood, my breath, my motivation. They helped me get through everything I needed to get through."
