The Force Awakens was a dream come true for fans of a galaxy far, far away. It will be a comfort to know that the next installment of the trilogy has begun production, and to commemorate the continuation of our journey through the universe Disney and Lucasfilm have given us a new teaser for Star Wars: Episode VIII to start building hype.
The original cast that we now know and love are returning for Episode VIII, with the addition of some new faces like Academy Award winners Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern, and a fresher face to the silver screen, Asian American actress Kelly Marie Tran.
The next episode of this Star Wars story arc is highly anticipated after The Force Awakens blew the top off the box office and set new records domestically and worldwide. Star Wars: Episode VII is tentatively scheduled to release in 2017 on December 15th.
