Gabriel Hostin, the son of Sunny Hostin celebrated his 21st birthday this week. For the occasion, the host of The View took to social media to publicly congratulate her son on the milestone.

“Happy 21st Birthday to this beautiful soul who first made me a Mom,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “We could not be more proud of the young man you have become. You are a blessing. Thank you for choosing to spend this important milestone with family and chosen family.”
Gabriel spent his birthday in Ibiza, Spain. Hostin shared several photographs of her son in a pool, paddleboarding, smiling after blowing out a birthday candle and posing at a celebratory dinner with friends and family.

“Happy Birthday to your handsome young man! God bless,” wrote another person.
The 21-year-old is currently a Psychology student at Harvard University, with a focus in wellness and business, according to his LinkedIn profile. He co-founded Ivy League Mentoring, a non-profit organization that connects mentors from the Ivy League to disadvantaged high school students.

Hostin had two children with her husband, Emmanuel Hostin. Their 17-year-old daughter Paloma joined the TV host during an episode of The View last May.
“That beautiful girl you’re seeing is Paloma Hostin, Sunny’s daughter,” co-host Joy Behar said as Paloma joined to close out the show.
The 17-year-old competed in the Junior Olympics last year and received support from both her mother and brother. Gabriel showed up to support his sister.
“She was terrified — it was really really crowded… My son showed up that morning because she said she needed him. He flew in to just support her,” Hostin said, according to People.
