Big Freedia is coming back to Fuse with a new show, Big Freedia Means Business. The series premieres June 2023, but Shadow and Act has an exclusive first look at the series right now, just scroll below.

Like her first Fuse series, Big Freedia Means Business follows the Queen of Bounce as she continues her career. However this time, she is working on brand new ventures, including a hotel, a beauty and fragrance line, and a new album that will drop later this year.

In Big Freedia Means Business, the New Orleans-born innovator of bounce music explores all of the music and entrepreneurial opportunities that have opened up to her since she was last seen in the hit docuseries Big Freedia Bounces Back, which remains the highest rated show in Fuse history. This year, a whole new world of fans discovered Big Freedia when she was featured on Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” off of her latest album Renaissance, which peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

The series is co-produced by World of Wonder Productions and will premiere on Fuse and Fuse+ this summer. The series will also stream on WOW Presents Plus later in 2023.

Fuse’s Senior VP and Head of Content and Marketing Marc Leonard said that fans have been asking Fuse when Big Freedia will return to the network.

A beloved icon who embodies Fuse’s message of empowerment as a creative self-expressor, entrepreneur and change leader, Freedia’s most recent series is still the most watched show on Fuse and Fuse+,” he said. “We are beyond excited to announce that Big Freedia is coming home to where she belongs at a moment when she is ready to scale new heights of success.
