Fresh off a courtroom win, and a large investment in Tidal from Sprint, comes news via Axios that Jay-Z will soon be a partner in a venture capital fund.

Carter and Roc Nation president Jay Brown are reportedly seeking a third partner to join them in creating a new VC firm in association with Sherpa Capital.

Jay-Z has already taken part in Uber’s Series B round, has a stake in internet-of-things luggage maker Away, the nail salon start-up Julep and the private jet company JetSmarter.

No announcement has been made about when the firm will officially launch, but all you entrepreneurs out there ought to get cracking now — Hov looks ready to hit the ground running.
