Terrence J is in some mess! The actor and television personality is under investigation after he slammed his $200,000 McLaren into a parking meter before hitting a tree. According to TV One, Terrence fled the scene soon after.
The incident reportedly occurred around 2:30 a.m. in Studio City, California, on Tuesday. “The driver and passenger fled the scene after they crashed into a parking meter and a business,” according to a statement from the Valley Traffic Division. “There is no further information available at this time.”
It was speculated that Terrence's girlfriend, Jasmine Sanders, was the driver. However, her representatives have denied that.
“On behalf of our client, Jasmine Sanders, I would like to clarify that Ms. Sanders was not in the vehicle at the time of this morning’s accident and was in no way involved,” a Sanders representative told People.
Circulating photos show the McLaren was crushed in the crash, according to KABC-TV, but there has been no word yet on whether the vehicle's inhabitants were hurt.
The identity of the woman alleged to have behind the wheel has yet to be confirmed. Terrence J's representatives have not commented on the incident.
