During the July 17 episode of The Bachelorette, contestant Dotun Olubeko received his first one-on-one date with Charity Lawson, which saw them taking a leap of faith together.

In a Shadow and Act exclusive clip for next week’s episode, Charity takes Dotun on another one-on-one date during which they run a marathon together at the New Orleans Crescent City Classic. The two are decked out in Mardi Gras-themed gear and get in a little exercise while competing in the city’s annual 10k run.

Check out the exclusive clip below:

Is Dotun one of the contestants Charity ends up falling in love with? It’s too soon to tell, but there’s no denying these two have chemistry.

Per the season’s logline, “following her heartbreaking departure after her hometown date on Zach Shallcross’ season of The Bachelor, Charity Lawson’s journey to find love will continue when she steps in as the leading woman for the upcoming 20th season of The Bachelorette, hosted by Jesse Palmer.”

As we reported, Lawson made it far in Shallcross’ season, but her journey toward a potential engagement ended following hometown dates, when Shallcross sent her home due to him having stronger connections with the three remaining contestants — Ariel Frenkel, Gabi Elnicki and Kaity Biggar.

During the “Women Tell All” special, Lawson learned that her journey to find love has not ended, as host Jesse Palmer shared that she had been chosen to star in the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

Season 20 of The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
