Shadow and Act has the exclusive first look at Nia Long and Melissa De Sousa’s The Best Man franchise returns in Peacock’s limited series The Best Man: The Final Chapters.
The final iteration of the franchise, its has a holiday season premiere date of Dec. 22.
The series includes returning stars:
Morris Chestnut (Lance Sullivan), Melissa De Sousa (Shelby Taylor), Taye Diggs (Harper Stewart), Regina Hall (Candace Murchison), Terrence Howard (Quentin Spivey), Sanaa Lathan (Robyn Stewart), Nia Long (Jordan Armstrong) and Harold Perrineau (Julian Murchison).
Recurring cast members are:
Nicole Ari Parker, Brandon Victor Dixon, Ron Canada, Michael Genet, Yvonna Pearson, Aaron Serotsky, Terrence Terrell, Tobias Truvillion and Eric Scott Ways.
The four-episode series "will catch up with the beloved cast as relationships evolve and past grievances resurface in the unpredictable stages of midlife crisis meets midlife renaissance."
The limited dramedy series is written and executive produced by Malcolm D. Lee and Dayna Lynne North. NBCUniversal’s Peacock is a natural fit for the film series, which is from Universal Pictures.
