Apple TV+ has released the first images and announced the premiere date for the upcoming drama series, The Last Days of Ptolemy Gray, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Dominique Fishback.
It is based on the acclaimed novel by best-selling author Walter Mosley, who adapted the story for the screen and serves as executive producer. It will debut on March 11 with two episodes
From Apple Studios, the series stars Jackson as Ptolemy Grey, an ailing man forgotten by his family, by his friends, and by even himself. Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn, played by Fishback When they learn about a treatment that can restore Ptolemy’s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present and future.
The series stars Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Walton Goggins and Omar Miller.
