A picture is taking over the internet and it involves the cutest baby ever. You may know him as the "honey bun baby," but the little boy's name is Ashton Howell. The 22-month-old Mobile, Alabama native is taking over the internet. But Ashton's mom, Ariel Griggs, can't take responsibility for the pictures hitting the internet which have made her son a star. Surprisingly enough, she wasn't the one who posted the pictures was frightened when she saw them on her timeline spreading like wildfire.

"My first thought was, 'How did they get my baby's pictures? I mean, I don't have these pictures,'" Griggs told AL.com in an interview about her star. Well, Griggs didn't have to look far to find the responsible party. It was none other than her 18-year-old brother who babysat Ashton regularly before going off to college. "He thought it was funny to dress Ashton up, putting his 'little' big head in caps and stuff and taking pictures of him. I found out he has tons of pictures of Ashton on Instagram. I guess people just thought his pictures were cute and went from there," she says.
So how does Ashton feel about his new found fame? "He doesn't know what's going on. He still wants his nap time. He's still cranky in the morning. And getting on the potty is still big business," his mother said.
Ashton's picture doesn't seem to be on the retirement list any time soon. It came out at a perfect time for us to celebrate and laugh about all things Thanksgiving. Now people are taking it beyond the holiday and making little Ashton a part of some devious behavior. "After Thanksgiving, I'm starting to see more that are the crazy ones. The last couple memes I've seen, they've been a little X-rated. I don't want people looking at my baby's picture and thinking of stuff like that!" Griggs said.
Unfortunately, Griggs can't control the devious post or Ashton's rising popularity, but as Christmas and New Year's Eve quickly approaches there will definitely be more memes of him floating around.
