The Roots' Black Thought and Questlove are doing big things. The duo has teamed up with AMC to produce a six part docu-series entitled AMC Visionaries: Rap Yearbook that highlights the biggest and most important moments in the history of hip hop and rap.
News about the project began to circulate last week when the network famous for The Walking Dead announced a new slate of docu-series planned for 2018 release dates. Rap Yearbook will be based on The Ringer Staff Writer Shea Serrano's New York Times best seller of the same name.
According to Uproxx, each episode will focus on the story of one particular song — similar to chapters of the book — and will feature a special guest MC.
