If there was one award show that's remembered for being iconic and celebrating Black culture and hip-hop, it was the Source Awards.

After ending almost 20 years ago, the award show is expected to return in 2022, Page Six reports. Additionally, the Source streaming channel will be released as a hub for all things hip-hop.

Other than the unforgettable moment when Suge Knight shaded Diddy and Bad Boys Records, there was an abundance of iconic looks and performances.

Here are 13 moments and red carpet looks from the Source Awards over the years.

1.

In 1999, Outkast appeared on the award show and accepted the award for artist of the year.

2.

That same year, the late Kobe Bryant stopped to pose for a picture with Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez who died in 2002.

3.

Da Brat got flashy on the red carpet with a Guess jean jacket and a red bra while rocking an eclectic braided hairstyle.

4.

Known at the time as Lil Bow Wow, the young rapper took the stage to perform.

5.

DMX performed at the 2001 award show and stood with his arms above his head to mimic the letter "X."

6.

Lil Kim sported a blonde wig with a sheer jumpsuit on the red carpet.

7.

Rap duo Youngbloodz posed on the red carpet in 2000.
