The Video Director Behind The Prolific 'This Is Nigeria' Music Video Is 23-Year-Old Prodigeezy

Rapper Falz’s powerful remake of Childish Gambino’s epic music video for “This Is America” has racked up over 1 million views. "This Is Nigeria" has been getting widespread praise, including that of Diddy.
While Falz deserves the recognition he has been getting for his brilliance, we'd be remiss if we didn't show love to the the young director and cinematographer who helped bring the rapper’s creativity to fruition.
According to 36ng, Iyobosa Rehoboth, who goes by the name Prodigeezy, is a 23-year-old director from Edo State, Nigeria. Though he may be a new face to some, Prodigeezy has been working in the field for four years, beginning his professional journey at the age of nineteen. He received a film school certification from the Digital Academy in Mumbai, India.

After graduating, the creator took a stab at music video directing, which landed him a chance to work with Aristokrat, the music label home to Nigerian Afrobeats artist Burna Boy in the early years of his musical career. As the label's in-house director, he worked on a number of videos including Burna Boy’s 2017 single “Boshe Nlo.”
According to Net NG, "This Is Nigeria" is his biggest work yet. However, we're sure it's only up from here. Check out the video below to learn a bit more.
