Porsha Olayiwola is reigning Individual World Poetry Slam Champion and she certainly did not leave her talents behind when she graced the stage this August in Oakland, CA. Porsha showed up to the National Poetry Slam as part of the Boston team that called themselves The House Slam. The team, competing for the first time ever at Nationals, walked away as champions after a fierce battle of words and performance with 71 other teams.
