Prom season is underway! Outside of college applications, there is probably no more nail-biting-inducing time in a teen's life than this Bachelor-rose-ceremony-in-real-life high school experience.

After coming to the heart-crushing realization that she had no suitors for her prom, 17-year-old Priscilla Samey decided to take matters into her own hands and bring a top-notch date that did want her: Harvard.

Confused? Well, she brought her literal acceptance letter from the ivy league institution to the party! This is how you make lemonade out of lemons!

The daughter of Togolese immigrants, Samey joked in an interview with Mic, “I took a date that was pretty low maintenance, so I didn’t have to pay for his dinner,” while also noting that her dress was relatively inexpensive and was made by a family friend.

Per Samey, the idea stemmed from her sister who told her that the best date "is all your college admissions."

That's right, Samey not only got into Harvard, but also received acceptance letters from Yale, Princeton, University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Columbia and Brown, too! That means she had to fight off a slew of potential undergrad-aged dates!

Samey's bold move was definitely met with praise and support via Twitter:

Samey was overwhelmed with the widespread support she received and supremely thankful:

Pretty sure all of those students that ditched her are shook as well, since she's now the hottest thing! This type of confidence is beautifully dope and we wish Samey well in her college endeavors!
