Mental illness. Bullying victim. Lonely.

There are an endless amount of labels used to describe extremists and explain their reasons for committing mass murders, and one Twitter user is over it.

User TheMuslimHippie took to Twitter Sunday night  (May 20) to reflect on the Santa Fe High School shooting in Texas that took the lives of 10 people and left 13 others injured. One of the victims, it has been reported, consistently turned down advances from the student shooter. Otherwise, victims were taunted by the shooter during his rampage, with the murderer singing, “Another one bites the dust,” after each attack and yelling “Surprise, motherf**ker” before pelting the closet door students hid behind.

And yet, the shooter’s father told CNN, “My son, to me, is not a criminal. He’s a victim.”

In her post, the woman wrote:

“I have a mental illness (several). I take Ritalin. I’m lonely. I’ve been rejected. I’m a Muslim. I’m black. I wear hijab. I live alone. I’m divorced. I lost my kids. I’ve been abused. But I never hurt or shot anybody. Goodnight.”

The now viral tweet has brought on hoards of love and support.
