Three Florida rappers have gone viral after helping an elderly woman in her car.
Joc Koe Stoe, Marty and Freddy G were at a gas station when they noticed the woman’s 100-year-old husband struggling to get her into the car. The couple. Rose and David Griest, had apparently been on their way to a medical appointment but stopped to use the gas station restroom.
“She was so tired, she could barely walk,” said Stoe.
Officer Kanesha Carnegie of the Levy County Sheriff’s Office in Bronson, Florida. was on her way to help when she noticed the three boys on their way to assist the couple.
“It was a beautiful thing to see,” Carnegie said.
She asked if she could record the heartfelt moment, which now has more than 4 million viewers. Carnegie knew the boys from around the neighborhood and wanted to show the world who the three men were.
The men were grabbing snacks from the gas station when they noticed the couple struggling.
“We didn’t even ask if they needed help; we felt comfortable giving them a hand right away,” said Marty. “I kept thinking, ‘She could have been my grandmother.’ 100 years old is a beautiful life.”
Young people are continuing to spread love and service throughout the country. Just a few months ago, 13-year-old Jordan Glover-Ingram went viral for running out to help an elderly man stay dry in the rain.
