Comedienne Tiffany Haddish had a rough New Year's Eve after her performance at the James L. Knight Center in Miami went all the way left.
USA Today reported that the Night School actress slurred her way through several jokes that did not land well with the audience including one about her mother's mental illness and her sister asking for money. Fans began booing and heckling Haddish as she forgot part of her standup routine altogether.
“This is weird for me. This is going to be on TMZ,” Haddish said during the set.
TMZ originally shared a video of the performance showing the star saying she would never do this again before drinking out of a bottle of Ciroc and then handing the bottle to a man sitting in the front row.
“No more shoulda, woulda, couldas. None of that. You know what? It happened the way it happened. This will probably be the only time you will ever see me like this. Because I’m never doing this again,” she continued.
Haddish broke her silence about the mortifying performance on Twitter confirming that the incident and affirming that it will not happen again.
"Yes this happened. I wish it was better Miami. I prayed on it and I have a strong feeling this will never happened again," she wrote.

The 39-year-old admitted via an Instagram post that she partied the night before until 7 a.m. and that she could still feel the alcohol in her system from the pre-NYE celebration.
"Not gonna lie … I've been partying all night. I've been partying all morning … I can still feel the Ciroc in my system."
Fans gave mixed reviews about the performance while several celebrities came to Haddish's defense via Twitter:
I went to go see if @TiffanyHaddish was actually funny. I ended up doing this. Conclusion: She is not funny. Horrible show. In her defense, she said she was having a rough night. She didn’t have to be up there. She ended up inviting me up on stage to tell jokes. ????????♂️???? pic.twitter.com/Ze1BPzeY9S

@TiffanyHaddish just bombed her show in Miami. We left in the middle of her set along with a lot of other people. Very disappointed, I hope that you are better prepared before your next show. #SheNotReady ????

I was there. She started out ok for like 10 min with old jokes, then Q&A, that followed with, “…Trust and believe the next show will be on point!” I was so hot cuz 1. It’s New Years and 2. I paid front row tickets. Disappointing evening #TiffanyHaddish

This is the price of fame when you're a comic. I was so lucky that there wasn't a Snapchat/IG when I was starting out on my first big tour. No REAL comic never bombs.
You are a hilarious, incredible talent @TiffanyHaddish and I can't wait to see you live! Ignore the haters! https://t.co/2nhpemOsGV

Failure is a part of growth and lessons get learned. The crowd will speak on this night forever so they had an experience, and you are the wiser. Not end of world. You’ll shine more in 2019

Cameras blow everything out of proportion. Having a bad set is part of being a comic. You’re dope 🙂
