Black creators are at the forefront of some of social media's most popular trends, and—in celebration of this innovative community—TikTok is launching a Black History Month campaign.

The company will bring in unique features, such as new in-app stickers and curated playlists accessible via the #BlackMusic tag. Additionally, TikTok will launch a LIVE series later this week that will spotlight creators who are "making an impact in the entertainment industry and in their community."

A special TikTok LIVE event in partnership with iHeartRadio, dubbed iHeart Living Black!, will also take place on Feb. 23. The show will be streamed on iHeartRadio's TikTok page, and it will feature star-studded performances from artists like Lil Durk, Lizzo, H.E.R., Big Sean, Ari Lennox, and Moneybagg Yo.

The event will be hosted by DJ Envy and feature appearances from stars like Saweetie, Charlamagne tha God, Angela Yee, and Niecy Nash.

The company is also unveiling this year's Black TikTok Trailblazers as a part of this initiative. These 12 creators are described as the "next generation of entertainment leaders." They will participate in the #BlackTikTok campaign by sharing their stories on the platform.
