If you're a Christian, you know that one of the foundations of this religion is love. Christians are to be people of love, who exude love, communicate love and exhibit it. Because Christ is love and he first loved us when he sacrificed himself on the cross. However, when do you draw the line between loving people for who they are and staying clear of hatred and the evils of the world?

Tina Campbell, the more controversial sister of the group Mary Mary, expressed that she does, in fact, support President Donald Trump. She's been outwardly open about it since his inauguration back in January. Furthermore, she recently divulged the reasoning behind her vote and withstanding support.

"I was faced with two presidential candidates that I really did not approve of,” said Campbell. “And so I had to find something, a commonality with one of them, that would make me feel like if I have to vote, I should utilize my right to vote. Since I don’t prefer either of them, what can I find that would make me vote? And some of Donald Trump’s views on Christianity, honestly, is what caused me to vote for him.

Though one can argue, Trump's Christian values are essentially obsolete, Miss Tina seems to see the brighter side, amidst the chaos of this presidential term.

"“Many of the decisions that he has made afterward, I have not been in agreement with at all, which I wasn’t in agreement with my last president that I voted for,” she shared in a sit down with ABC News. “But however, as a Christian, my perspective is to pray for the president, to not use my social platforms or other platforms to try to destroy this man, because, at the end of the day, he still represents the country that I live in.”

In most other cases, we would probably applaud Tina Campbell for her unbiased, presumed "agape" love for our current leader, but not today!

Perhaps the right prayer would be for him to gracefully resign, sis. Face it, Trump is no good. But we will pray for you, too.
