An Ethiopian runner tried to pants his competition at the 2018 Lausanne Diamond League Meeting on Thursday, and failed miserably.
Sports Illustrated reports Selemon Barega, also Ethiopian, could have accidentally tripped Yomif Kejelcha earlier in the competition, but Kejelcha took it as a threat. With seconds left in the race, Kejelcha sought revenge by attempting to pull his opponent's pants down. It didn't work out for him so well. Take a look.

The race, which took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, was going just fine for Kejelcha until Barega caught up to him. He knew he had to come up with a plan to win — and do it fast. But Kejelcha ended up falling even faster.
Although hilarious to us, Kejelcha didn't get the last laugh. Not only did he get disqualified, according to HuffPost, but Barega still placed second.
It might be better to just play fair.
