Here's your second look at the anticipated dark, futuristic web series previously titled The 117, and now called DR0NE with an intentional zero, not the letter "O."

Lance Reddick stars, along with Kenneth Choi.

The new web series will be broadcast on the YouTube channel You Offend Me, You Offend My Family, which Fast Five's Justin Lin is shepherding.

DR0NE centers on robots that are designed and programmed by humans to be superior soldiers, and that have become part of the U.S. military.

Reddick's starring character is described as the "ruthless commander of the drone army assigned to deploy and keep the drones in line as they head off to execute missions against enemy territories. One drone goes rogue, prompting Reddick and his team to search for it."

The new series, co-produced by Clark Baker and Robert Glickert, is being directed by Glickert, from his own script.

Justin Lin is executive producer, while Reddick and his manager Steven Adams are serving as co-producers.

As announced back in March, Reddick formed a production company called Christai Productions, along with Adams, with the goal being to develop story-driven film and television projects that are a little "outside the box," but with "a sharp eye to genre and budget."

We can assume this new series is all part of that plan.

An official premiere date for the series has been revealed – August 30th; and after that, it'll air every Thursday night at 8PM EST. Looking forward to it!
