Some quickie TV casting news…
First, Pooch Hall, (who may or may not be returning to BET's The Game), will guest-star on Syfy's hit series Warehouse 13, playing Cody Bell, an Iraq vet and small-town boxer and steel worker, who becomes embroiled in artifact mayhem with stars Pete and Myka.
Warehouse 13 follows a team of government agents who work at a massive, top-secret storage facility in South Dakota, which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and preternatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse's caretaker Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek) charges Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock), Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly), Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti) and Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him control the Warehouse itself.
The episode airs on Monday, September 17, airing at 9PM (ET/PT).
And second, Jon Michael Hill (Detroit 187) has been promoted from recurring role to series regular, on the new CBS drama Elementary – a contemporary take on Sherlock Holmes which stars Jonny Lee Miller as Holmes, and Lucy Liu as his sidekick, as both assist the NYPD.
Hill will play a detective. That's all we know so far.
Elementary premieres on CBS on Thursday, September 27.
