Bamba has had an active run through TV land over the years, appearing in series like E.R., Law & Order, CSI, Bones, Grey’s Anatomy and much more.

Second, former Quantum Leap co-executive producer Deborah Pratt (a multi-hyphenate who’s also an author of sci-fi novels, an actress, and a director) has sold a new time travel drama series to NBC, titled Timeless.

The series’ plot is currently underwraps, but it’s suggested that NBC bought the pitch instantly, so they must have really liked it!

Pratt’s other credits include writing episodes of Magnum, P.I., and appearing in an episode of Happy Days in the 1970s, and much more.

And finally, NBC again has set up a new comedy project for the network, written by Aisha Muharrar, and to be produced by Ed Helms, star of The Office

The series will center on a teenager who dreams of being the next Oprah Winfrey, but doesn’t have the necessary skills. So she sets herself up as a kind of solver of everyone else’s problem – including her family and friends, using them as case studies.

Muharrar’s credits include producing and writing episodes of Parks and Recreation, a show where she started as a staff writer.
