17-year-old Jacksonville native Tyanna Jones fulfilled a lifetime dream when she was chosen to compete on American Idol. She even earned one of the top 5 spots on the 38-city American Idol tour. She began singing in her church choir at 5 years old and stood out as a confident and powerful voice early. She also dedicates time to empowering other women and girls, and is being recognized for that work as a 2016 Heroine in Heels award recipient and a brand ambassador courtesy of The Beautiful Mile.
