Tyrese's name has been ringing this year. Whether it be for his respectability politics towards women or his one-sided feud with The Rock, we've been hearing about him nonstop. Now, the Baby Boy star wants us to talk about him for another reason.

He has an upcoming rap album that is going to change hip-hop (his words, not ours).

Tuesday, he took to Instagram to deliver the news by posting a picture of himself with JAY-Z and the President of Urban Music at RCA Records, Mark Pitts. In the caption, he addresses his new album as well as pays homage to many hip-hop legends that have inspired him through hashtags.

"Asked [sic] anybody I tagged about this album…… This new album is inspired by Jay-Z. My motto is #IDentityTheftDoubleAlbum is Jay’s spirit, PAC’s Soul and Sonically Dre’s Ears…… I know your first instincts is to say GTFOH put me in the ( Singer and Actor box and throw away the key )…but you will see folks very very soon that this rap album is far from play play…….."

"#IDidThisForTheCulture," he adds before ending his post with "#LaughNowDickRideLater."

He then went on to post a clip of a song that is seemingly from the upcoming album.

"BlackTy feat Future this is an early reference #Ghostwriter when will I drop – no one knows," the caption of the post reads. " This album is inspired by Jay’s spirit, PAC’s Soul and sonically Dre’s ears."

While it is uncertain who is featured on the song, he ends his post with "rumor has it I'm BEYOND-SAY!"

Maybe this is what Tyrese has been spending his time doing since the ninth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise isn't being filmed until 2019, much to his dismay. Either way, the album looks like its coming, will you be listening?
