Former Obama senior advisor Valerie Jarrett isn't here for Roseanne Barr's nonsense.
During a Wednesday, July 25, appearance on ABC's The View, Jarrett was asked about the disgraced comedienne's latest comments attempting to clear up a failed joke calling the former White House official an "ape."
These comments made on Twitter would lead to the cancelation of her reboot and her termination.
Roseanne took to YouTube days before to try to clear up what she meant, but her latest comments only made the situation worse. She claimed she did not know Jarrett was black. In fact, she yelled at an interviewer about Jarrett possibly being white.
When a co-host relayed this new info to Jarrett, she was less than interested in what Barr had to say.
"Roseanne, who?" she said jokingly.
"In all seriousness, I am fine. I am just fine. If one of you said something like that," Jarrett said gesturing to the show's co-hosts, "it might hurt my feelings. But this isn't what keeps me up at night."
While Barr's career is currently crashing like a lead balloon, Jarrett is booked and busy. She's releasing a new book about her life in politics titled Finding My Voice.
I’m excited to share the cover of my book, Finding My Voice, which will publish next April. You can learn more here: https://t.co/dMAyOHM4AB

“I don’t want to just tell my story — I want to share the experiences, life lessons, and values that have shaped who I am and my ideas for the future,” Jarrett said in a statement regarding the book.
