Kevin Samuels, who gained notoriety for providing dating and relationship advice to people as an image consultant, has passed away, NBC News confirmed.
The YouTuber’s mom, Beverly Samuels-Burch, confirmed his death to NBC News on Friday. She declined to reveal additional details about his death.
Atlanta Police Department responded to an apartment Thursday morning after receiving reports of an “injured” person and attempted CPR. A woman told officers that Samuels had complained of chest pain before falling.

“Hope it’s not true that you passed 🙏🏾,” one person wrote.
“Waiting on a credible source. Hopefully not true,” another person said.

According to Samuels’ website, his image consultant business was “designed exclusively for men who want an upgrade on their appearance.”
Samuels also assisted companies to rebrand their corporate image, including revising dress code policies. Additionally, he offered executive workshops for company leaders, according to his website.
The viral image consultant recently received backlash after referring to single women as “leftovers” after the age of 35.
“If you have made it to 35 and you are unmarried, you are a leftover woman,” Samuels said, according to Hip Hop Wired. “You are what is left. Men know that there is likely something wrong with you. Whether you want to hear it or not, I’m going to go there with you.”
People took to Twitter to criticize his comments.
Kevin Samuels calling women over 35 who’ve never been married leftovers must have never tasted gumbo the next day…

As Blavity previously reported, Samuels was also featured in a video ahead of Future’s “Worst Day” music video release.
In the video, the two sat down for a mock therapy session.
“Last year, how much would you say you spent on women,” Samuels asked the rapper.
“Probably I’d say around two, three … $3 million. Every time I see a beautiful woman, I have to splurge. I have to spoil em,” Future said.
The image consultant also spoke with Nicki Minaj in February, rating the rapper based on her physical appearance.
He gave the “Anaconda” rapper a nine, saying she received additional points for her eyes and facial symmetry.
