Rappers 2 Chainz, YG and Offset made a family affair of their new video "Proud."
The song is from 2 Chainz's latest EP "The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It." One of the song's refrains is "I'm just tryna make my mama proud." Call us presumptuous, but it looks like you're doing exactly that, sir. Throughout the video, the rappers' mothers are seen imitating their sons' personas and keeping it G in a fun and familiar way.
“I decided to let our moms shine in this video,” 2 Chainz said.
A few weeks ago, the 40-year-old music artist gave us a sneak peek of the video when he posted a picture of him and his mom on set.
"Yesterday was amazing , I wish my pops was here but I know he looking down," 2 Chainz wrote.
YG also shared a preview via Instagram last month when he posted a flick captioned: "Our mommas went brazy yesterday lol."
Brazy indeed.
Watch these mamas put on for their sons decked in Gucci and holding bands. It's quite clear where these rappers get their star quality from.
