I'm actually a bit curious about this one, even though I'm not into reality TV. I like the idea – essentially showing audiences the path to wealth taken by everyday folks like you and I, and how they handle financial success when they achieve it.
But of course, it's all in the execution of the series, so we'll have to see how Centric TV presents it. But based on the preview below, it looks like it'll likely be more of the same brand of reality TV drama.
Titled Amateur Millionaire's Club, it's described by the network as "a fresh and exciting new reality series that will follow the lives of nine newly minted Black millionaires, chronicling their rise to wealth and the challenges that come along with their new found status."
Look for it to premiere on Centric, with back to back episodes, on Saturday, July 7 at 9P/8C.
